The restaurant is located on Route 329, just off the Ishikawa Bypass in a residential area, so it is best to check the location on Google Maps beforehand. We went there during lunch time on a holiday, so the restaurant was full of local customers. This is the lunch menu at Kishoku Tenten.
I came here for lunch with my family that day, so we discussed which menu to choose. However, since we were at this restaurant, we couldn’t miss their famous chicken cutlet. We wanted to try all the dishes on the menu, so we ordered the vegetable soba and the torotoro tebichi set meal. I’m looking forward to seeing how big the portions are.
Now, this is the chicken cutlet that is rumored to be super voluminous. It’s just as they say, super-heavy! The chicken cutlets are lined up from one end to the other. It was too much for one person to eat, but since I came with my family, we all ate it together. The batter was crispy, so it was much lighter to eat than I expected. The sauce for the chicken cutlet was also delicious and matches the rice. The chicken cutlet was large, but tender and juicy. The whole family ate well together.
And this is Tenten’s vegetable soba. It’s like a Jiro-style ramen with lots of stir-fried vegetables on top. The vegetables were crispy and crunchy, and the flavor matched well with the soba soup. This was quite a tasty vegetable soba! It was also delicious, and we shared it with the whole family.
And that’s what I’m talking about, melted tebichi! The meat was so tender that it crumbled when I lift it with my chopsticks. The seasoning was gentle, and it’s an excellent dish that can be enjoyed by both children and the elderly. We enjoyed it to the very end. Thank you for the meal!

Kishoku Tenten is famous for its super-heavy menu. Not only is it hearty, but it is also well seasoned and loved by the local Ishikawa people. My family and I enjoyed the meal to the very end. We were quite full, but it was still delicious. I would like to go there again with an empty stomach.
