The Mi-yaguwa is located just off the Okinawa Expressway Tomigusuku IC. I used to know that I used to drive in front of the restaurant before, but I had never entered. Since it was introduced in local TV programs, I went to eat Okinawa soba and miso soup.
When you enter the store, you will find a ticket machine in front of the entrance.
There are counter seats and parlors in the store, and it feels like a soba restaurant in Okinawa. It is a homely atmosphere and is crowded with local customers on weekdays.
Now, let’s eat Okinawa soba. This is Okinawa soba of Mi-yaguwa.
This raw noodle is characteristic. It looks green. It should be that, it seems to be a small original noodle that kneads the Okinawan herb Unnan Byakuyaku. When you eat it, you will be surprised by its strength. Even if it says that it has kneaded medicinal herbs, you can eat cleanly with almost no odor. And Okinawa soba soup. The soup is rich in umami based on pork bones, but the aftertaste is clean, so you can eat as much as you want. It was a delicious Okinawa soba.
And this is the miso soup of Mi-yaguwa. Full volume miso soup with eggs, tofu, deep-fried vegetables, and Okinawa’s unique “Undersuu”. Naturally, miso soup using umami-rich Okinawa soba soup is naturally umami-rich. And with a gentle taste, it went into my body. There were various ingredients, and the texture changes so that I can eat without getting tired until the end. I was happy that I could change the rice.
