Fukuraku is located on Prefectural Road 256, a couple of minutes drive from the Itoman roundabout. The exterior of the restaurant looks like the picture below, so you can tell at a glance that it is a Chinese restaurant. If you pass by, you will notice that the restaurant is somewhat interesting.
First of all, I went to Fukuraku with my children at 5:00 p.m. on a holiday. We seemed to be the first to arrive, and there were no other customers. The interior of the restaurant has the same Chinese-style atmosphere as the exterior. There are tables and tatami rooms, and the restaurant is more spacious than I had expected.
And what surprised me was the variety of dishes on the menu. There are so many dishes on the set menu alone.
There’s so much more on the food menu alone! It’s fun just to look at it because it comes with pictures.
Some of the dishes are in Chinese, and you may not be able to guess what these are. You’ll want to try a variety of dishes. And here is the drink menu.
In addition, the special ramen set available for lunch on weekdays alone offers seven combinations of rice dishes and four combinations of ramen. This alone is enough to make you wonder which one you should choose.
By the way, they also have six different lunch sets that change daily. What dishes are available is written on the blackboard at the entrance.
This is the only menu I have introduced, but there are many more. I will introduce them later.
Now that I was here with my kids, I had a lot of time to think about what to eat. I decided to order the “Taiwanese Ramen Set Meal” and the “Fried Chicken Set Meal”. I was looking forward to seeing how they taste.
This is Fukuraku’s Taiwanese Ramen Set Meal. It is a hearty set meal that includes Taiwanese ramen, fried rice, dumplings, soup, salad, and even dessert. The Taiwanese ramen had a good texture of crispy bean sprouts and was very easy to eat. I was expecting it to be a little spicy, but it was not too spicy, and even children could easily eat it without any peculiar taste. Of course, the fried rice and dumplings were also delicious and filled me up.
And this is the standard fried chicken set meal. The fried chicken was bigger than I expected, with a crispy texture and juicy juices, just like the fried chicken. Deep fried chicken lovers will not be able to resist the deliciousness and volume! I was very satisfied.
And to my delight, Fukuraku has a wonderful set menu called the Sake set. I wanted to try this Sake set, so I came back another day to try it. There are two types of sake sets at Fukuraku. The first is the 1,080 yen set, which includes a glass of sake and a choice of two dishes.
The other is the 1,580 yen set that includes a glass of sake, yaki gyoza, and a choice of one appetizer and one dish each.
Of course, being a drunkard, I chose the 1,580 yen sake set. Beer, grilled gyoza, appetizer of green onion and pork, and shrimp chili. At this point, one beer was not enough, so naturally I had another.
I was very satisfied with Sake set.
About Fukuraku
Fulle is a Taiwanese restaurant with a large menu and very generous portions. Many of the waitresses are from overseas, and sometimes they speak Chinese or other unfamiliar languages, which makes me feel like I’m traveling abroad. There are many dishes that I would like to try, and I would like to go and try them more often in the future. The restaurant seems to be popular even among the locals, and customers started arriving after 5:30.

If you want to know delicious restaurants of Soki soba or cuisine
Since you are coming to Okinawa traveling a lot, you would like to know the delicious restaurants of Soki soba and Okinawa cuisine. The book I refer to is "Pia Okinawa Food Book". Not only Okinawa soba and ramen, but also a variety of delicious Okinawa restaurants such as steak, Italian, Chinese, cafe etc are covered. There are also many pictures, and recent Okinawa delicious shops are introduced. "Okinawa shop 77 popular bloggers choose to pick" is an electronic book, but very interesting shops are introduced. A restaurant I do not even know about is included and it is helpful.
