The appearance of Daruma Soba is as shown in the photo above. You can see it clearly even from the car window, and it is marked by a memorable and realistic Daruma. At the entrance of the cafeteria, there is a menu list with pictures. All menu items are accompanied by photos, so it is easy to understand.
This is what the inside of Daruma Soba looks like. With tables and tatami rooms, it has the atmosphere of an Okinawan restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is larger than expected, and with the signatures of various celebrities on the wall, you can feel the atmosphere of a restaurant that has been loved by the locals for a long time.
To order Daruma Soba, you must use the ticket machine. The machine is located to the right of the entrance.
When I first come to a restaurant, the first thing I order is the restaurant’s signature dish. Daruma Soba’s standard menu is also Daruma Soba. I tried the Daruma Soba first.
This is Daruma Soba. It’s a delicious looking Okinawa soba with three kinds of meat on top: Soki, Sanmainiku, and Tebichi. First, I took a sip of the soup. The thick umami of the bonito and kelp base spread in my mouth. The aroma of the bonito went deep into my nose, and I felt a very rich umami flavor. This was so good! The Soki and Sanmainiku meat were also well seasoned and did not lose out to the thick soup. And not to be outdone by the rich soup were the glutinous noodles. The combination of the firm and chewy noodles and the thick soup was irresistible. It was quite a delicious Okinawa soba.
Next, I would like to introduce Daruma Soba’s other signature dish, beef soup (Gyu-Jiru). The beef soup was prepared using beef meat, bones, and organs, and was full of beef flavor. The taste was quite rich, but not greasy, so you can keep eating. It was a rich beef soup that went well with rice. By the way, you can have another bowl of rice for free! This is very helpful for families with growing children who have a big appetite.
Of course, Daruma Soba has a wide variety of set menus. This is the standard Daruma set meal. The thin pork cutlet was crispy and soft, and the stir-fried vegetables were crispy and crunchy, making me rice go faster. The fried vegetables were crispy and crunchy, and the rice went well with them. The fried vegetables with an egg on top was very Okinawa-like.

If you want to know delicious restaurants of Soki soba or cuisine
Since you are coming to Okinawa traveling a lot, you would like to know the delicious restaurants of Soki soba and Okinawa cuisine. The book I refer to is "Pia Okinawa Food Book". Not only Okinawa soba and ramen, but also a variety of delicious Okinawa restaurants such as steak, Italian, Chinese, cafe etc are covered. There are also many pictures, and recent Okinawa delicious shops are introduced. "Okinawa shop 77 popular bloggers choose to pick" is an electronic book, but very interesting shops are introduced. A restaurant I do not even know about is included and it is helpful.
