The Chodeguwa is on the west side of the San-A Nishihara store along National Route 329. The coolness of the “Mensoore” signboard at the entrance is interesting. Mensoore is the meaning of welcoming you.
When you enter the store, you will find a ticket machine on the left side. Here you buy a food ticket and give it to the staff. There are two types of noodles: homemade raw noodles and pure handmade raw noodles. I think it is easy to understand if there is a menu with photos, but unfortunately there was only this meal ticket machine.
At the first Okinawa soba restaurant I came to, I want to eat Okinawa soba. First of all, I ordered “Chodeguwa Special Soba”. I was looking forward to the taste of Okinawa soba, a popular restaurant in Nishihara.
This is Chodeguwa Special Soba and Juicy. Soki meat, cartilage soki meat, Sanmainiku and Okinawa soba that seems to be delicious. First I tried a bit of soup. A rich umami taste that spreads out in my mouth. And homemade raw noodles. Although it was a thin noodle, it feels firm and strong. Homemade raw noodles with a responsive taste that can beat the rich umami soup. I thought this was a good Okinawan soba.
There are various kinds of homemade noodles in Chodeguwa. I wanted to eat other Okinawa soba so I went to another day. I ordered “Ikasumi Soba (Squid ink soba)” on this day. What kind of taste is Okinawa soba with squid ink?
This is Chodeguwa’s Ikasumi soba. I think it looks black, but the noodles are only black and the soup is quite transparent. And it’s a soup with a rich umami taste. It has a rich umami, but it is not greasy and refreshing. And homemade raw noodles with squid ink. There was also a firm crunch, a slight squid ink taste, and this was a delicious Okinawa soba.
