The Ayagu shokudou is located in Shuri, Naha City. It is about 5 minutes’ walk from the monorail Shuri station, so I think that it is a popular cafeteria of Okinawa, which tourists can easily visit. Feel free to enjoy home-cooked Okinawa. There were many customers from the high school students to the neighbors and grandmother, inside the shop.
This day I visited around 2:30 pm on weekdays, but there were many customers in the shop. It is truly a cafeteria that is popular beyond generations. The menu is stuck on the wall.
There are lots of menus but I will get lost, but again Okinawa lunch is A lunch! Order A famous A lunch with full volume! I was looking forward to seeing how much volume it was.
Well, this is the A lunch of the Ayagu shokudou. There was impact with volume full scale from the appearance. It was a luxurious lunch with 10 kinds of side dishes such as Tonkatsu, Egg Grilled, Grilled Pork, Ham Cheese, Tempura, Okinawa Soba, Hamburger, Salad and so on. Every dishes were handmade and tastes warm home cooking, I felt like eating lunch at the relatives’ aunt’s house. It was tasty, but it was still a truly voluminous one. I slowly ate hard and ate it without ever leaving. It was impossible for me to eat A lunch if I did not feel hungry.
